Marine Lifting

We are available to consult on the most appropriate methodology and equipment for specific tasks and project lifts, and our equipment base is varied in size and nature to enable us to provide unbaised advice on the most appropriate technique.

Lifts in the past have been done either as lump sum or rental contracts.

Through Smithbridge Australia, we undertook the removal and replacement of a 112 tonne damaged shiploader boom at Hay Point in 2006.

Our barge Maeve Anne has been involved in a number of lifts on the Brisbane River including rental (with crew) for the construction of the Kurilpa Bridge in 2008/2009.

She was also contracted in 2008 to undertake the erection of a conveyor gallery for Sun Engineering in tidal waters at Pinkenba.
