Marine Infrastructure

Brady Marine & Civil have experience in delivering a variety of marine infrastructure, with particular success in projects involving a high level of technical challenge and complexity.

We are currently constructing two citycat ferry terminals on the Brisbane River, each with additional constraints brought about by the 2011 Brisbane floods.

Through Smithbridge Australia we have built a number of navigation beacons, each involving unique challenges. In 2006 we installed four large-diameter beacons at Hay Point, with pile weights up to 40 tonnes and located up to 14 km offshore.

In 2009 we salvaged and reconstructed a beacon in Moreton Bay using our barge Maeve Anne.  This project included the challenge of recovering the damaged structure, a task which required the extraction and removal of raked piles which had been severed below the seabed.
