Sister company JEKS BMC Sdn Bhd have recently secured their first contract in Malaysia, a submarine gas pipeline on the country’s West Coast.
The project has been won in joint venture with Stonehouse Construction and involves laying and post-trenching a 2.6km 30” gas pipeline along with two 4.5km HV power cables.
The gas pipeline will bring LNG ashore from an island jetty, being built as part of an LNG Regasification facilities project. Offshore works will be carried out early next year.
