First Precast Bridge Girder Erected Over Nerang River, Gold Coast Light Rail Project

Using their heavy-lift vessel Leanora, Brady Marine & Civil recently erected the first of the 60 tonne precast girders over the Nerang River for the Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) bridge.  A total of 8 girders were erected over a 3 day period to complete the first two of the twelve spans in the bridge.
